Rotary Club of Marion, IL
Rotascope Weekly Newsletter |
![]() |
The first issue of The Marion Rotascope appeared on July 1, 1924,
15 months after the Rotary Club of Marion was chartered.
The members keep in touch with the club's activities through the official publication of the club. In the early days, Sam Casey, editor and owner of the Marion Evening Post, printed the Rotascope every week from type set on the linotype. Our Rotascope is usually a four-page edition distributed to members at our weekly meetings. The newsletter has items of interest plus each week's programs. Birthdays and anniversaries are also noted. Upcoming events for the Rotary Club are included. There is usually a joke and a trivia quiz. |
