the regular Rotary Club of Marion, IL Board Meeting on May 9, 2006, the
Board voted to end the Travelogue Series and to proceed to initiate other
fund raising activities. The Travelogue Series was the primary fund raising
activity of the club for over 17 years and served the club well. It was
the opinion of the board that interest in the series was waning, both by
club members and the general public and another type of fund raising was
necessary to boaster club participation and interest. We apologize for
the inconvenience to any of our travelogue patrons that have supported
us over these many years and hope our new activities will be welcomed by
all. |
